"As a novice to philosophy I have found this course to be incredibly valuable. In areas that were completely new to me, the course provided excellent guidance and explanation with each lecture building on the material from the previous one. Even in areas where I had some prior familiarity with, I appreciated the way complex ideas were summarized in a clear and coherent manner. The course covers a wide range of topics in Western philosophy, from the ancient Greeks to modern-times. The instructor's passion for the subject matter shows, and their knowledge and expertise is present in every lesson. Thanks to this course, I am beginning to feel much more confident in my understanding of philosophy, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to deepen their understanding."

"Oh the videos are super dense and collectively cover a wide swathe of thinkers and movements without sacrificing any depth! Sure, there's always more you could research in any one topic, but PP put in good work providing context to everything taught, relating ideas to other videos in the course so you can feel how they build off eachother. He does a great job as an interlocutor, communicating complex topics without reducing them. Also, PP himself is a great mentor as he's often available to answer questions, clarify points, provide complimentary reading suggestions, etc. He definitely makes the course just that much more valuable. The payment plan is a good deal too. "
